This explains what Friend Map (Conexuns) collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account: your phone number, first name, and optionally a photo and a short bio.
- Location: only while you share it, and only shown to the friends and groups you picked. We keep your latest spot, not a history of where you've been.
- Friends, groups and events you create or join, and updates about them.
- Payments: what you paid into pools and the fees. Card numbers go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Receipt photos shared in a pool, to split the bill.
- Reports and blocks you make, to keep people safe.
- Basic technical data: the country you signed up from and the sign-in sessions on your devices.
Who helps us run Friend Map
- Stripe: card payments and organizer payouts.
- Twilio: texting sign-in codes.
- Google Maps: maps and place search.
- Anthropic: reading receipt photos into a list of items.
- Vercel and Neon: hosting the app and its database.
They only get what they need to do that job. We don't sell your information or show ads.
What others see
- Friends see your name and photo; people you share with see your location while you share.
- People at the same event see who's going and, in a pool, who has paid.
- Organizers see what each guest owes or paid in their pool.
Your choices
- Turn location sharing off at any time, or pick exactly who sees you.
- Block people, remove friends, and leave groups.
- Delete your account from Profile: your name, photo, bio, phone number and location are erased. Pool payment records are kept without your name, as payment rules require.
